Use the Book Lessons page on this site, or call Kent Test Driving School directly. Booking online takes about a minute.
What should I bring to my first lesson?
Your provisional licence, comfortable shoes, and glasses or contacts if you wear them. Wear comfortable clothes — driving lessons can run warm.
Can I choose manual or automatic?
Yes, both are offered subject to instructor availability. Automatic instructors book up faster, so reserve early.
How many lessons will I need?
The DVSA suggests an average of 45 hours of professional instruction plus 22 hours of private practice. Most adult beginners need 30–50 hours; experienced or returning drivers usually fewer.
Can I take my test in the instructor's car?
Yes — your instructor's dual-control car is normally used for the practical test. Test fees are charged at the DVSA rate.
Do you offer block discounts?
Most schools offer better per-hour rates on 10-hour and 20-hour block bookings. Check the Pricing page for current packages.
